The core thesis behind LimeLabs is that the decentralized web is poised for a multi-chain future where networks and applications are open, scalable and interoperable. We also believe that ZK proofs (and zk-rollups) will play a key part in scalability and interoperability, driven by Ethereum’s rollup-centric roadmap.
LimeLabs is the R&D arm of LimeChain - a blockchain development company with a team of 100+, building decentralized applications (dApps), blockchain infrastructure and developer tooling on Ethereum and beyond since 2017. On this journey, LimeChain has worked with pioneers such as Polkadot, Hedera, The Graph, Celo, Ledger and others along the way.
LimeChain has had innovation and curiosity at its core since the very beginning. Driven by these values, the company has been building and contributing to open-source developer tools (Etherlime, Matchstick, Gosemble), NFT and DeFi applications (LandWorks) and Ethereum standards (EIP-4400). These contributions have led to the formation of LimeLabs - an innovation lab focused on exploring, developing and investing in technologies powering the decentralized web such as blockchain infrastructure, developer tooling, and scalability solutions including rollups and zk proofs.
